I don't know why I started to collect pictures of all the state capitols but I did. It all started on July 14th 2002. I was on my way to Boston and taking the scenic route through upstate NY and down through Vermont. I was passing through Montpelier (the capitol of Vermont) and decided to stop and see the capitol building (one of the few I hadn't seen) And I took a picture. The rest is history. I generally wont make a specific trip to get the picture, I have to be in or near a states capitol already. . Click the thumbnails to see a larger picture or page.
