Olympic Peninsula May 24th 1999

In may of 1999 I was in Seattle, WA and had a day off, so I rented a car ( it was supposed to be the $19.99 special but they gave me a brand new Volvo S70 for the same price). I had wanted to see the Northwest Coast for some time and finally had the opportunity, I set out from Olympia and headed to the coast, along the way there was a storm as I crossed over a pass along the way. The weather worsened as I got closer to the coast and I worried that they day would be ruined. But as I arrived at the coast the storm lifted and the clouds broke and I had a magnificent day driving up the coast and stopping along the way to climb down to the beach.
