| When I touched down I headed for the North Shore and just
drove around checking things out A friend had recommended that I stop at
the first stand I see selling Pineapple and get one so I did, what you get
is a pineapple they skin and dice right in front of you and then they pour
the chunks and juice in to a plastic bag. Messy but Goooood! once it was
late enough to check in to my hotel I headed back to Waikiki and got lost
and stuck in rush hour traffic along the way. I checked in and walked down
to the beach, I was looking for a place to eat and found my self at Davey
Jones Ribs at 250 Lewers St where I had the biggest and best ribs I have
ever had. I sat at the bar an started talking to the bartender Winston who
was really cool and gave me lots of good info on some of the more out of
the way places and better bars to hang out in. He recommended a place
another friend of mine had. its an old Chevy panel van turned in to a
shrimp truck, where they serve some of the best shrimp with tons of
Garlic. |
