Lake Champlain, VT

My first dive unsupervised, My friend Dan was passing thru Albany NY while In was working there so we checked out what there was in the way of diving in the area. We were led to believe that there were some ship wrecks reachable from shore in Burlington, VT but it turns out there weren't. The dive shop in Burlington gave us directions to a shore dive they liked that has some great rock ledges and blocks. We found the site , Geared up and hit the water after about 20- 25 min before we had even found any thing good it suddenly got dark under water, since we were only at 20' I popped up and saw a serious looking storm headed towards us from across the lake so I went back down to Dan and we hi tailed it back to shore. Other than lots of Zebra mussels and a 12-14" Yellow Perch we didn't get to see any thing exciting but at least we got wet!
