Here are some photos I have taken in New York over the last few years that might also be of interest.

This photo was taken May 20th 2000 at Dawn. I was driving in to New York and at this time was crossing the Gothals Bridge on I278 on to Staten Island. If you look just to the left of the rear view mirror you can see the twin towers of the World Trade Center.

This photo was taken sometime in the fall of 1996 at Foley Square in Downtown Manhattan. This was the first time I had ever driven a truck in to Manhattan and just getting to Foley Square was quite an experience. I initially parked on the side of the street and our contact from the city was waiting for me, he showed me the spot, handed me a permit and left. I quickly pulled up on to the square and began setting up the display. Almost immediately I was confronted by a large number of NYPD and federal officers, including search dogs. They were very tense and wanted to know who I was and what I was doing there. As they checked my ID I showed them the display. They thoroughly searched the trailer and cab by hand and with the dog. They then informed me that there was about to be a part of the trial of the men who had bombed the World Trade Center in the courthouse just across the street. This photo was taken from the steps of the courthouse later that day.

This photo was taken in May of 1998 in a park that is south and east of the World Trade Center. I couldnt even get the top of the towers in the shot. I believe that the building directly behind the truck is tower 4 . The following two photos are from the park area seen in the photo above.
