|
Tonight Dan was still tired so I buddied up with Carmen and Dave for a night dive and it was a really long one at 61 minutes. |

| The Tarpon found us quickly tonight, I am using my camera strobe as my primary dive light and I think there is something about the color of light it gives off that attract them. Tonight I had three around me at one time and one stayed with me right up to the dock. I have been told by some of the other divers that they can tell me by my light because it looks different than all the other lights under water, I don't think it is the brightness so much as its color or temprature. |

These divers have an Octopus surrounded and while it didn't see it ink I felt they were stressing it, plus they ere all hanging on to the reef, The current was really kicking at this point I was drifting very fast to the South so had little chance to stop and take a closer look. |
