British Columbia and back to the USA

I got on the road very early today as I had over 600 miles to make it to the border and I really wanted to make it south of Seattle if possible. There wasn't much to take pictures of along the way until I got the where BC97 meets the Trans Canada Hwy and the road parallels the Thompson and then Fraiser rivers. The road runs along and above the river in a very dramatic gorge, But it doesn't have many good spots to take pictures from, or even safe spots to stop.

Sunset back in the US. Talk about total culture shock! from totally wild terrain of British Columbia to suburban Bellingham Washington in a matter of hours. It almost gave me a feeling of claustrophobia. I made it to just north of Everett, WA before checking in to a hotel. For the first time 5 weeks I actually worried about being safe while sleeping in the back of the truck or having the truck broken in to while in the hotel. Yup nice to be back in civilization, NOT!
