Fairbanks to Anchorage to Homer

I spent the night at the Wal Mart in Fairbanks and then met my friends for breakfast before heading out of town. I really needed to get out of the smoke so I headed down to Denali but as I got down there the smoke was just as bad so I kept going to Anchorage but the smoke turned in to low clouds rain and fog. It ended up that I didn't even take any pics on the 29th. As I was coming in to Anchorage I was looking for some fast food to eat before finding a place to stay. I saw a Taco Bell and pulled in to grab a bite. When I walked in I was floored, There having dinner in that Taco Bell was the same family I had been on the Prudhoe Bay tour with 2 days before, It really is a small world sometimes, I drove around Anchorage for a while before getting a room at the Holiday Inn. On the 30th I left Anchorage in the afternoon, the weather was still crappy but I am hoping it will be better down near Homer. I got some really great pics of a moose and calf along the way as well as some cool pics of the mountains across the foggy sound at about 1:30am. The fog was really terrible the last hour or so in to Homer . Also along the way I picked up a guy by the name of Frank from Philadelphia near Cooper Landing, his family had dropped him off in the morning so he could get some fishing in during their vacation. He was trying to get down to Soldotna about 40 miles down the road where his family was already at a hotel.
