Coming in to Deadhorse

So this Artic Fox is crossing the road, naturally I stop and begin shooting pictures of him sniffing around looking for food. when I hear a bird calling real loud and real close, then out of no where this artic tern starts diving at the fox, I figure he was getting to close to the terns nest, after about a dozen passes the Fox was getting tired of the harassment and he started crying out and howling at the tern. The fox soon moved off and the tern went back to her nest.

I continued in to Deadhorse, arriving at almost exactly midnight. The very first thing I did was get gas. I had skipped buying gas at $2.89 a gallon in Coldfoot because Dave had told me that it was $.30 cheaper in Deadhorse, and it was. I drove around some checking out this strange town and pulled in to the hotel where the tour departs from, as I was getting ready for bed the girl that works at the front desk came out for a smoke break. We talked for a few minutes about how she ended up working in Deadhorse and the tour tomorrow. She said she would leave a note with he front desk that I was out in my truck sleeping so they could come wake me up in time for the tour. I then went to bed under full sun at 1am.
