Watson Lake & Atlin
| I left Watson lake and continued up the Alcan. I ran in to my new Friends Denny and Helen near Teslin lake. After having dinner with them I continued north with plans to run the Canol Road up to the border of the Northwest Territory but after 10 miles I changed my mind about getting beat for almost 300 miles each way on washboard gravel hwy. I instead opted to head down the Atlin Road and check out the ghost town near surprise. Afterward I made it back to the Alcan and to where the road to Skagway splits off to the south where I spent the night. |
