Watson Lake Sign Post Forest
| I spent the night and started the day in Watson Lake, YK spending a few hours wandering through the sign post forest and putting up my own sign. One thing that amazed me were the absolutely huge signs from Germany and Europe, some were as big as a 4X8 sheet of ply wood, I wonder how they got them here. The whole thing started in 1942 and as of this spring there were over 52,000 signs. Many of the signs that caught my eye were form Michigan. |
