The Alaska Hwy (Alcan) Begins
| I cruised up though Alberta and stopped in Grande Prairie for supplies. then on to Dawson Creek and the start of the Alcan! As I headed north I spotted my first black bear crossing the road and enjoyed amazing sunset. Gas is getting rather expensive now 1.89 per liter and it takes just less than 4 liters to equal a U.S. gallon OUCH! I made it as far as Fort Nelson before going to bed for the night. |
